Ride report for the Shasta Dam Poker Run

Thanks to everyone joined us!

Despite the fact that it rained all day, we still had a decent turnout and a great event! Riders left on time at about 9:30 and went on one or more of three "loop options". Those that rode the entire course saw some pretty deep puddles, fresh mud and a little snow. One of the biggest hits was at check #3 where the guys held a group warming session.

Unfortunately, our photographers were unable to shoot very many pics due to the rain on their lenses.

The raffle is always enjoyed, our high hand was a flush. Our raffle would not be possible without the generous donations from our local shops:

Also, thanks to the Shasta Lake Fire Department for the emergency services, BLM for helping us with areas to ride and tech inspection, the Forest Service for use of the staging area and all the others that make this event happen.
